Edgeworthia chrysantha
Paperbush is a mounded shrub that will get about 3-4 feet tall and wide. The branching structure is quite uniform so the shrub forms a classic dome shape that fits neatly into a summer border. The plant spreads gradually by suckering.
It's real claim to fame is its fragrant flowers that bloom in late winter and early spring.
It thrives in rich organic soils and does well in light shade or sun.
