Artist-in-Residence SCULPTURE WORKSHOP

Monday – Friday • September 15- 19 • 10AM-5PM

5-day workshop

This is the chance of a life time! Learn to create your very own stone sculpture while carving beside one of the greatest African sculptors of the century, Sylvester Mubayi. Turn raw Guruve Serpentine stone into an inspired masterpiece as you learn to carve under the shady trees. Participants will break for lunch; bring a bag lunch or visit our new Café - picnicking is allowed anywhere in the Garden.

Class fee includes a sculpting stone from Zimbabwe, a set of tools to keep and instruction by prominent Zimbabwean artist.  

Cost: $525 ($500 for NBG Members)
