Norfolk Botanical Garden strives to provide a variety of educational opportunities with the flexibility that homeschooling requires. This 155 acre space offers a wealth of learning experiences every time you visit. Whether you are coming for the day or just for a couple of hours we look forward to your visit and we hope to serve your family as a valuable educational resource. Homeschool Takeover Days
Attention all homeschoolers! Norfolk Botanical Garden would like to invite you to come explore our 155 acre outdoor classroom. These exciting educational field trips offer homeschoolers a chance to get together with other kids and take part in hands-on programming led by our experienced Garden Teachers. This program is best suited for children 5 - 10. Science journals will be provided for all participating children and are included in the cost of the program.
Cost: $10 per participant ($8 for NBG Members) *includes 1 free adult

Botanical Basics - Science Labs
Come explore the garden in our hands-on science labs for Homeschool students! This 3-hour course is designed to serve Homeschool students ages 11-13 and those working on middle school course work.
Class min: 5 / max: 10
Cost: $25 /student /program ($20 for NBG Members)
