Keep the cam rolling and get a photoSee a pair of American Bald Eagles that have built a nest in the Garden.  Visitors can get a good view of the nest and its inhabitants from NATO Tower or our Tropical Garden.   Or, watch online using our special "Eagle Cam."

  • The first egg was laid on January 31.  Hatched March 11. ID band NC. Male.  Fledged May 27.
  • The second egg was laid on February 3.  Hatched March 13. ID band ND. Male.  Fledged May29.
  • The third egg was laid on February 6. Hatched March 14. ID band NE. Male. Fledged May 31.
  • Eaglet banded on March 31.  See photos
  • Eaglets banded on May 5, satellite trfeedeing an eagletansmitter fitted on oldest eaglet and given name "Camellia" for tracking purposes.  See photos
